Our Crowdfunding Groups
With graduation on the horizon, you may find yourself reflecting on your time at Cal Poly; the good, the bad, the struggles and the triumphs that followed. This year we want to jumpstart a tradition of senior giving, ensuring that our underclassmen friends and future Mustangs have access to the same – if not better – opportunities that were able to bring you to the end of your Cal Poly experience.
We understand that the challenges and needs of each student are different. Therefore, we are offering our graduates the choice to give to any of four different areas of campus: Cal Poly Cares, the Cross-Cultural Centers, the Hunger Program, and the Kennedy Library. These four options are described below.
Cal Poly Cares Student Emergency Fund
With the costs of rent, groceries, textbooks, and unexpected expenses constantly racking up, many students find themselves struggling to make ends meet financially. Cal Poly Cares works to ensure student success by providing emergency, no-strings-attached grants to students who find themselves experiencing financial hardships.
Cal Poly Hunger Program
Unfortunately, over 1 in 4 Cal Poly students experience food insecurity during their time here. By handing out meal vouchers and keeping our on-campus food pantries well stocked the Cal Poly Hunger Program is committed to making sure no Cal Poly student ever has to go hungry.
Cross-Cultural Centers
Consisting of the MultiCultural Center, the Pride Center, and the Gender Equity Center, the Cross-Cultural Centers work together to promote diversity and inclusivity on campus through bringing in speakers, hosting panels and workshops, and providing a platform for students to engage in their own form of advocacy.
The Kennedy Library
Who hasn’t spent a late night here? Not only does the Robert E. Kennedy Library provide us with much-needed study space, the resources – including research databases and up-to-date software – it offers students make it invaluable to the Learn By Doing experience.

Additionally, there are currently matching funds set aside. The first gifts up to a certain amount will be matched – Give $20.19 to the program of your choosing and that program will receive $40.38!!
