Now Accepting Applications for Poly Gives projects to launch April 11th! Apply before March 1st, 2024.

Fill out this application to express interest in launching a Crowdfunding campaign. The purpose of a Crowdfunding campaign is to assist Cal Poly-affiliated organizations, programs, and departments by providing a platform for them to raise money for events and expenses, among other financial burdens. To qualify, projects must be sponsored by a Cal Poly department and/or organization and approved and sponsored by a faculty member or advisor.

We will be hosting a large cohort of crowdfunding projects that will launch April 11th and run until May 15th, so apply as soon as possible to be considered for a spot as space is limited! Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis and the Annual Giving team will reach out with the next steps if your project has been selected. Apply before March 1st, 2024 to be considered.

Poly Gives will be happening April 11th - 13th during Open House weekend, and will be an amazing opportunity for your crowdfunding project to get the support it needs. We are looking to highlight projects that create a positive impact for our student body, inside or outside of the classroom.

What college or department is your organization under (if applicable)?

Your advsior will be looped into all communications.

NOTE: ASI Clubs must have an active and current ASI charter.

Explain the project purpose and how it will positively impact the Cal Poly community.

If yes, please provide the specific date and description of event or time constraint.

Members of your oranization will be integral in helping to promote your project.

Posting on your organization's social media accounts is important in getting the word out.

The more people who know about your project, the more people will donate.

(ie. booth on campus, athletics event, benefit concert, etc.)

Be specific, are these Alumni of your organization or a specific department, past donors, etc.?

What contact info do you have (ie. email addresses, mailing addresses, phone numbers, etc.)?

The majority of your donations will come from your personal networks.
