Donate to Cal Poly Distance Club! Cal Poly Distance Club (CPDC) is Cal Poly's official running club, and one of the biggest club sports on Cal Poly's campus that trains and competes year-round in cross country and track. Part of what makes our club so awesome is that we are able to strike a balance between competition and fun by offering many social events for our members, including camping trips, adventure runs, beach barbeques, and a formal social. Additionally, we want to provide a competitive experience for our members by providing both individual and team racing opportunities. All CPDC members receive a club T-shirt as well as access to a year-round training schedule, seasonal coaching, and competition opportunities. In order to operate as a club, we need the support of generous donors like you and greatly appreciate any donation to help us make these amazing events happen for our runners! Our biggest club expense is for the NIRCA Cross Country National Championships, which includes the cost of airfare, car rentals, meet registration, hotels, and gas! It’s been one of our missions for the past three years to take as many of our members to Nationals as possible by subsidizing a large portion of each member’s travel expenses. This past cross country season, we were fortunate enough to be able to take 24 members to Indiana for Nationals, where we saw fantastic performances from our athletes. Members who earn their spot on the Nationals team are in for an unforgettable experience where they create friendships and memories that will last them a lifetime! Highlights from this past year include: — Over 70 CPDC athletes competed at the Cross Country Bronco Invitational in Santa Clara — 24 Members competed in the Men’s and Women’s Championship and Class races at Cross Country Nationals in Indiana — West Cuesta camping trip with over 50 members in attendance! Your support will help make competitions more accessible and affordable for our runners by helping us cover the cost of meet registration and travel expenses and allowing us to invest in a team tent and Distance Club gear to help our team stand out! Donate to Cal Poly Tennis Club! Cal Poly Tennis Club is a co-ed, club tennis organization. Founded in 2009, our team is known for being the perfect blend of competition and fun. Each year, our competitive team travels throughout California and across the United States to compete in 12+ large-scale tournaments against club tennis teams throughout the country. As a close-knit team, we are one big tennis family. Our competitive team is full of incredibly hard-working and talented individuals. Our team strives for greatness each year and has our eyes set on competing in sectionals, regionals, and nationals, among many other tournaments. Last year, our competitive team placed 3rd at Sectionals, 1st at Regionals, and 2nd at the National Championships— competing against the top 64 schools in the country. Our tennis club greatly relies on your generous donations to sustain our competitive edge and allow us to create lasting memories both on and off the court. Your contributions directly support a wide range of essential expenses that enable us to compete in tournaments and represent Cal Poly with pride. With more than 150+ club members between our competitive and general teams, these funds cover tournament entry fees, allowing us to compete against top-notch teams in the 10+ tournaments we compete in each year. Donations also go to hotel and lodging accommodations that are essential when traveling to away tournaments, tennis balls for our year-round practice, car rentals, and plane tickets for out-of-state competitions. Your support not only allows us to continue pursuing our passion for tennis but is also the underlying backbone that fosters teamwork, discipline, and leadership skills among our members. Donate to Cal Poly Women's Club Soccer! Cal Poly Women’s Soccer Club (CPFC) is the official women’s club soccer team at Cal Poly. The club is comprised of approximately 25 dedicated student-athletes who train and compete year-round. We pride ourselves on creating a competitive environment while fostering a strong sense of community among our members. We are able to provide social events, such as team dinners, inter-sport exchanges, collaborations with the men's club team, and an end-of-year formal, that help build lasting friendships and a fun atmosphere. Our competitive edge is enhanced by full-time coaching, league access, and participation in regional and national tournaments. To continue thriving, we rely on the support of generous donors like you and greatly appreciate any contributions to help our athletes succeed. One of our major expenses has been attending the NIRSA Soccer National Championships. Costs include airfare, car rentals, tournament registration, hotels, and gas. Last year, our team reached the semifinals, and the previous year, we proudly returned from Round Rock, Texas as national champions. Competing at nationals not only challenges us against top teams nationwide, but also allows us to create lifelong memories and friendships. These chances come from successes as a team, like winning the regional tournament in a penalty kick shootout to secure a ticket to nationals. Donate to Cal Poly Triathlon Club! We are the Cal Poly Triathlon Club, one of the largest clubs on campus, composed of athletes across every experience level of swimming, biking, and running. Last year we were honored to win club sport of the year out of the 30 club sports based on the criteria of membership growth, events hosted, positive feedback, caliber of competing, and community engagement! Our primary goal as a club is to make the physically intimidating, gear expensive, and logistically intensive sport of triathlon accessible and affordable to anyone who is interested. Your donation feeds directly into our club as described below: Our other main sources of funding are from hosting races and membership dues. Every week we have three workouts per sport led by our student coaches, a team meeting, a team dinner, and social events such as pumpkin carving, camping trips, and traveling to races. All of which are managed by our officer board of 18. Supporting us means providing moving experiences to a group of young people to learn lessons that last a lifetime. Thank you and Go Mustangs! Donate to Cal Poly Cycling Team! Cal Poly Cycling is a Club Sport team at Cal Poly and is your 2024 Collegiate Mountain Bike National Champion! This year, our riders traveled to Bentonville, Arkansas and beat some of the best schools in the country to win 13 medals and 4 national titles. This continues our history of success. In the past two seasons alone, our talented members have taken home two other National Championships and eleven other National podiums. In 2023, we were even the Cal Poly Club Sports Team of the Year award recipients. This year, we plan to continue our winning ways by sending riders to more league and National Championship events. These events are hosted all over the country, so we need your help to support our riders so that they can focus on performing at their best. Donations will go towards travel, lodging, and registration costs for our riders. We also plan to use donations to expand the Loaner Bike Program and Free Bike Fix, two existing Cal Poly Cycling programs that are already making big impacts on campus by helping to make cycling a more accessible sport to those just getting into it. Donate to Cal Poly Men's Club Lacrosse! Cal Poly Men's Lacrosse competes in the Men’s Collegiate Lacrosse Association (MCLA), a lacrosse-specific alternative to the NCAA. Our team strikes a balance between being one of the most competitive in the nation and excelling in the classroom. As one of the school's largest clubs in terms of budget and funding, the team operates primarily through player dues and generous donations from family and supporters. These contributions cover travel expenses, league dues, facility rentals, equipment, HUDL, and a full-time head coach. Players will receive a helmet, gloves, practice jersey, travel polo, sweatshirt, shooting shirt, practice shorts, and a warm-up hoodie. After finishing the regular season second in the WCLL and currently ranked 18th in the MCLA, Cal Poly is looking to make a strong push in both conference and national playoffs. We need your help to get there. To help pay for our travel and hotel expenses, we are looking for anyone who loves Cal Poly Lacrosse to donate. Nationals represents our most significant financial commitment of the year. The costs associated with tournament registration, accommodations, and travel are substantial. Because of our B team's recent success, they have recently been bumped up to Division 1 of the NCCVL and are competing against the same teams as A team. Donate to Cal Poly Rowing Club! Cal Poly Rowing was started to bring the sport back onto campus and get students involved in competition. Not only does rowing instill lifelong values, but it also allows students to get involved in their communities and make unforgettable connections with teammates and alumni. As a fully student-run club, CPR understands the balance between school and sport. The 2023-2024 season was our first competitive year. In the Spring, we were able to take 37 athletes to WIRA, Western Intercollegiate Rowing Association Championships. We expect to double that number for the 2024-2025 season and strive to dominate the racecourse. This next season, we will be racing in Sacramento and San Diego, and returning to WIRAs. Our biggest expense as a club is equipment and regatta entry fees. We try to keep dues low for our members, but the cost adds up quickly. We must cover the cost of boats, oars, cox boxes, our trailer, and gas for transportation. In addition to our equipment expenses, regatta entry fees, travel, uniforms, food, and hotels can be a large expense for the individual member. Our goal is to raise enough money to cover the cost of our regatta entry fees for the 2024-2025 season. This will help get more students involved by preventing expenses from being a barrier to entry. Our team consistently shows up as the largest and most inclusive team in our conference, and we race against top ranked schools like Stanford and the University of Hawaii! To achieve this mission and goals, we need funds to contribute to our traveling expenses for practice and competitions, as well as entry fees for all our sailors. The Cal Poly Water Ski Team competes against other colleges from all over the West Coast, taking part in slalom, trick, and jump events as a member team of the NCWSA. We are a tight-knit community of passionate friends and hard-working leaders who love water skiing. This sport provides us with the opportunity to better ourselves as individuals and teammates. We attract experienced skiers and introduce new athletes to the sport weekly. No matter our experience level, we are all unified in our desire to improve and grow the sport. Some past highlights include: 3rd place at West Coast regionals in 2023 10th place at D2 collegiate nationals in 2023 4th place at West Coast regionals in 2024 10th place at D2 collegiate nationals in 2024 As our major tournament season wraps up, our team is focused on rebuilding to return even stronger in the Spring. To do this, we need your support to help our team with practice dues, tournament dues, and to purchase and maintain all of the amazing gear that our team needs. Our practices are held at Lake Nacimiento throughout the school year, and tournaments are conducted all over the West Coast. The costs associated with using the course, maintaining our boat, and traveling to the lake can be significant barriers for new members. Additionally, travel expenses and entry fees for tournaments add up quickly. Any assistance you can provide to help us alleviate these costs would be greatly appreciated.

Because our athletes pay dues, our goal as a program is to make participation as affordable as possible and to ensure that financial difficulties are not a barrier to playing on our team. We want all of our athletes to be part of our supportive community that builds lifelong skills and friendships. The dues that our athletes pay cover league dues, tournament entry fees, equipment, pool space, lifeguards, transportation, hotel, and much more. Donate to Cal Poly Swim Club! Cal Poly Swim Club is the largest club sports team on campus, with around 100 members registered annually. We provide a space for all swimmers to work on their skills, no matter their level, to be the best athletes they can be. Practices are held 5 times a week and are run by our board members and a dedicated training committee, who have extensive swim experience and are committed to making practices productive and beneficial to all members. Our training committee designs structured practice plans and writes all sets to ensure every practice is inclusive and cohesive, no matter your swimming background. We strive to create an inclusive environment and encourage members to attend practices not only to improve their swimming but also to build relationships with the other members. We hold many social events such as team bonfires, polar plunges, and an end-of-year formal to celebrate our team's accomplishments. CPSC is one of the top College Club Swim teams on the West Coast. We attend 2-3 meets a quarter for swimmers to compete and make cuts for the College Club Swimming National Championship held in the spring. This past season at Nationals, CPSC won the National Championship, sweeping both the women's men's, and combined scoring categories! Your support is crucial for providing swimmers with the resources they need to be successful in the pool. Proceeds will go to travel expenses, so everyone who wants to compete can buy merchandise such as swim caps and t-shirts, so we can represent Cal Poly and support our social events to create a community. Donate to Cal Poly Women's Ultimate Frisbee! Cal Poly Women's Club Ultimate is a growing group of driven and hardworking individuals that come together to practice and compete year round. To keep our teams running and functional, we ask for your support to afford travel costs, tournament dues, and lodging. After years of great retention, we were able to kickstart a second, developmental team last year. With an additional team and players, our financial needs have grown as the cost of tournament dues, transportation, and more, has doubled. Combined between our two teams last year, we had 46 strong players in jerseys and competing throughout the state, spanning 3-4 weekends each quarter. Funds raised will also go towards lowering the cost of our jerseys and quarterly dues for every player. Making this sport and team experience accessible to all interested is one of our top priorities. Additional funds will be used to buy new practice equipment such as cones and ladders to replace our broken ones. This past season was hard-fought as the SLO Motion A team ended with falling just short of qualifying for Nationals. This next year is filled with determination to qualify and attend Nationals, a huge commitment we are working at early, both on the fields and in seeking donor support. SLO Motion B took 4th at Developmental Regionals and look forward to placing even higher next year with the hopes of qualifying to play at A team regionals. This year, in addition to the merch we provide all players, we are hoping to finally purchase new jerseys! Donate to Cal Poly's Roller Hockey Team! Cal Poly Roller Hockey Club is Cal Poly's official Division II hockey club that trains and competes from October through April. Our team enjoys playing together at the rink and participating in team bonding events like intramurals and social events, such as going on team hikes and watching game footage. We travel to the Central Coast Sports Arena in Santa Maria for practices and compete in the Western Collegiate Roller Hockey League (WCRHL) tournaments in Irvine, Corona, Santa Maria, and San José. In the spring, we head to the National Collegiate Roller Hockey Association (NCRHA) 5-day National Championships to play competitively against teams from all over the country. All Cal Poly Roller Hockey members receive away and home Mustang team jerseys and roller hockey pants. We are also making an effort to increase branding and team recognition across campus. In order to operate as a club, we need the support of generous donors like you. We greatly appreciate any donation to help us grow this program! Our biggest club expenses are WCRHL season dues and the NCRHA National Championships, which includes the cost of airfare, car rentals, team registration, hotels, and gas. Last season, we traveled across the country to Auburn, Maine, where we played East Coast teams we had never previously competed against and made lasting memories of time with teammates on the Atlantic Coast! This season, we are looking forward to traveling to our National Tournament, which will be held in Fort Myers, Florida. Highlights from this past year include: — Hosting our own tournament at the Central Coast Sports Arena in Santa Maria — Competing in the Conference Championships in Corona, California — Sending twelve players to the National Collegiate Roller Hockey Championships in Auburn, Maine! As part of the Southern California Collegiate Badminton League (SCCBL), we practice year-round and compete against other universities, striving for excellence while also fostering a fun and inclusive environment. Our club is not just about competition — we offer a variety of social events to create lasting friendships and memories. From game nights to beach outings and end-of-year banquets, there’s something for everyone! In addition to these social opportunities, our club travels to Southern California throughout the year to participate in scrimmages and a variety of competitive tournaments. These events offer our players invaluable experience, from sharpening their skills against tough competition to building friendships with teammates and opponents alike. To ensure our members have the best possible training environment, we also provide top-quality feather shuttlecocks at every practice, allowing our athletes to improve their game with the equipment used in high-level competitions. To keep providing these opportunities for our members, we greatly appreciate the support of generous donors like you. Your contributions help cover some of our biggest expenses, including badminton shuttlecocks, travel, lodging, and registration fees for league tournaments. This past season, we were fortunate to compete in multiple tournaments like the Bruin Open and the Spring Davis Open, demonstrating our team’s dedication and hard work. Donate to Cal Poly Ballroom Dance Club! The Cal Poly Ballroom DanceSport Team stands as the premier competitive partner dancing team at Cal Poly, dedicated to mastering both American and International ballroom styles year-round. With a dedicated roster of approximately 22 members, we participate in 2-3 competitions each quarter and proudly host one of the largest collegiate ballroom events on the West Coast: Mustang Ball. Beyond competitions, we organize a variety of social events throughout the year, from elegant formal dances to casual bonfires and game nights, fostering a vibrant community and offering a range of opportunities for members to connect and enjoy dancing together. Our primary challenge is covering the costs associated with competitions, including flights, gas, hotels, food, and registration fees. To ensure that all our team members can benefit from these experiences, we aim to subsidize expenses like hotel and travel fees. Last year, our team competed in six competitions, showcasing our skills against some of the top collegiate dancers from the West Coast, and forging lasting friendships and unforgettable memories. Key achievements from last year include attending 8 different competitions across California and Nevada, competing against schools across the West Coast, and hosting Mustang Ball, where we saw an impressive 232 competitors and 1,700 competitive entries across 136 different events in our very own Chumash Auditorium. Your support goes a long way by reducing registration and hotel costs, enabling us to attend even more competitions and set our sights on USA Dance Nationals. Support the Cal Poly Archery Club! Cal Poly Archery is a collegiate archery team and club sport dedicated to creating a welcoming, inclusive and supportive community where students can learn and compete through the sport of archery. We support beginner and experienced archers in reaching their highest potential. Our club gives students the opportunity to learn proper technique, range safety and equipment use in a safe environment, supported by high level coaches and volunteers. We’ve built a close-knit team and community where members can make friends, try something new and grow during their time at Cal Poly. Throughout the year, we participate in collegiate competitions across California, with opportunities to qualify for and travel to state and national competitions. We also host practices, team events and plenty of fun activities that bring our members together both on and off the range. As a student-run organization, funding plays an important role in keeping our team accessible and competitive. Your gifts helps us maintain and purchase equipment, support competition and travel expenses and create opportunities for more students to participate in archery events. Donate to the Cal Poly Fencing Club! The Cal Poly Fencing Club’s goal is to provide students with access to sport fencing, regardless of experience. The club provides coaching and equipment, so students can try fencing for the first time without needing to pay for expensive gear and lessons. Because of this, many members joined the club as first time fencers, and have since gone to serve as club officers, win medals at tournaments, and continue fencing after graduation. We offer coaching for all levels of experience across all three blades, participate in an intercollegiate league for tournaments, and host our own Cal Poly tournament every year. Entry fees for tournaments are paid out of pocket by each fencer, but an immediate goal of the club is to cover these fees to encourage participation. Between purchasing and maintaining gear, hosting a tournament, and covering tournament fees, costs to the club can become quite high over time. Despite this, we try to keep the barrier for entry as low as possible for new students and have proudly maintained one of the lowest quarterly dues in Club Sports for years. Any donations to the club directly contribute to our mission as a low-cost entry point to sport fencing. Thank you for your support of the Cal Poly Fencing Club!
