Our Crowdfunding Groups
Cal Poly Women's Club Ultimate is a growing group of driven and hardworking individuals that come together to practice and compete year round.
To keep our teams running and functional, we ask for your support to afford travel costs, tournament dues, and lodging. After years of great retention, we were able to kickstart a second, developmental team last year. With an additional team and players, our financial needs have grown as the cost of tournament dues, transportation, and more, has doubled. Combined between our two teams last year, we had 46 strong players in jerseys and competing throughout the state, spanning 3-4 weekends each quarter. Funds raised will also go towards lowering the cost of our jerseys and quarterly dues for every player. Making this sport and team experience accessible to all interested is one of our top priorities. Additional funds will be used to buy new practice equipment such as cones and ladders to replace our broken ones.
This past season was hard-fought as the SLO Motion A team ended with falling just short of qualifying for Nationals. This next year is filled with determination to qualify and attend Nationals, a huge commitment we are working at early, both on the fields and in seeking donor support. SLO Motion B took 4th at Developmental Regionals and look forward to placing even higher next year with the hopes of qualifying to play at A team regionals.
