For 50 years, KCPR’s pledge drive has powered the sound of Cal Poly. This year, we’re celebrating that legacy with a bold goal: raising $50,000 for 50 years of Pledge Drive. Step right up and make your pledge — this show doesn’t go on without you. For more than five decades, KCPR has woven connections throughout Cal Poly and the greater San Luis Obispo community, nurturing student growth while amplifying diverse sounds, voices, and perspectives. Our studios, staff, and musical landscape have evolved over time, but our identity remains anchored in our motto: Where Different Matters. Across every era of our history, KCPR has created space for experimentation, independent music, local storytelling, and student expression. As a fully student-led station, KCPR thrives on leadership and collaboration. Our team members contribute across content, news, marketing, music, podcasting, and art, gaining hands-on experience with professional-grade equipment while producing innovative media that resonates far beyond campus. From live Burnt Dog Sessions and bilingual newscasts to original podcasts and our morning talk show, students are constantly building, learning, and creating. While balancing academics, jobs, and campus life, a committed group of student volunteers devote substantial time each week to producing, managing, and sustaining the station. While some student leaders receive stipends, those funds cover only a small share of the work required to keep KCPR thriving. Our goal is to increase stipends and expand paid leadership opportunities so that more students can be fairly supported for the professional level of work they provide. This year, $20,000 of our $50,000 goal is dedicated to purchasing a new console for Studio B. Studio B is where students prerecord shows, record interviews, produce podcasts, and develop the technical skills that prepare them for careers in media and beyond. A new console will improve sound quality, ensure long-term reliability, and give students hands-on experience with industry-standard equipment. To commemorate this investment, we’ve introduced a $5,000 giving level, and donors at this level will have their name permanently recognized on a plaque displayed alongside the new console. Beyond equipment and stipends, your generosity unlocks transformative opportunities. Pledge Drive funds allow student leaders to attend national conferences such as the Intercollegiate Broadcasting System (IBS) Conference, where they gain valuable insight, training, and inspiration to elevate the station’s impact. Our Podcast team won Best Public Affairs Program this year! Donations also help us book and pay local and touring bands, expand event coverage, revitalize Club 91, produce multiple original podcasts, and continue offering equipment for learning and experimenting. The Fringe Festival is "the world's greatest platform for creative freedom," priding itself on including "anyone with a story to tell and a venue willing to host them." As the largest art festival in the world, The Fringe Festival is a hub for a wide variety of performances — such artistic diversity and ingenuity offer an excellent educational opportunity for growth both as global citizens and as improvisers. Not only does The Fringe Festival provide the space to embrace unfamiliar forms of artistic expression, but Smile & Nod's own rigorous performance schedule offers an unparalleled opportunity to not just hone our craft while also allowing team members to rub elbows with industry professionals and innovators. The ability to meet and learn from other performers as well as to consistently practice our skills both expands our network and fosters a more inventive team that can elevate the quality and ingenuity of our performances. Smile & Nod's biannual trip to The Fringe has been a team tradition since 2012, and we need your support help students participate in this incredible Learn by Doing opportunity this year. Donate to the Cal Poly Sailing Team Cal Poly Sailing Team Cal Poly Sailing is a competitive club sport with over 50 active members that revolves around teaching our peers and introducing sailing to hundreds of Cal Poly students every year. Our team is entirely student-run and donation-funded, and we rely on the support of our community to compete in the Pacific Coast Collegiate Sailing Conference (PCCSC). We are the biggest uncoached and non-NCAA sailing team in the PCCSC, and we continue to grow every year. For the first time in eight years, Cal Poly Sailing is in the running for a spot to compete at the Inter-Collegiate Sailing Association (ICSA) National Championships in Spring 2026, and we are focusing on training for the 2027 Nationals as well. We rely on funding for transportation, clinic coaching, boat repairs, and regatta entry fees to help us get there. We are raising money to help support our club in our journey to competing at ICSA Nationals in the coming years, gain access to more competitive coaching clinics hosted by the Pacific Coast Collegiate Sailing Conference, and make significant improvements on our boats. Our team currently relies exclusively on student coaching and many of our boats/sailing equipment require extensive repairs. Being able to attend or host a clinic and repair our boats would significantly advance our sailing level and help us compete on a national scale. Cal Poly Soil Judging Team Cal Poly’s Soil Judging team has qualified to compete at the 2026 National Collegiate Soils Contest to be held in North Carolina in March! During the competition, we describe, classify, and interpret soils as a professional soil scientist would, while experiencing new soil types and properties unique to the contest location. This year our team is bigger than ever, with 13 students preparing to compete, so we need to raise funds to cover student travel, lodging, and registration costs to attend. The team has a longstanding tradition of excellence dating back more than 50 years. Donate to support the Cal Poly Women's Mobile Health Program! Cal Poly Mobile Health Unit The Cal Poly Women’s Mobile Health Unit (MHU) is a multi-disciplinary program improving the health of farm-working women across California’s Central Coast. The MHU addresses barriers such as limited access to preventive care, undiagnosed chronic conditions, and a shortage of providers experienced with multicultural, multilingual, low-income populations. Through its three integrated programs, Clinical Services, Health Research, and Student Learning, the MHU provides care and conducts research. It also serves as a hands-on training site where students gain critical experience in community-based healthcare while working directly with farm-working women who face barriers to accessing medical services. Our mobile clinic delivers essential services including annual exams, pelvic and breast exams, pap smears, blood pressure and blood sugar testing, cholesterol screening, family planning, pregnancy care, menopause support, heart health monitoring, female cancer screenings, mental health referrals, and connections to community resources. Services are offered in English, Spanish, and Mixtec, ensuring women from all backgrounds can access care safely and comfortably. Since 2020, the MHU has grown steadily from serving 65 patients to nearly 300 patients per year, with many more women on the waiting list. To expand care, we are pursuing new avenues of support, including this crowdfunding campaign. Community contributions are urgently needed to sustain and expand this essential service. Your donation, whether $25 to provide supplies for a patient visit, $50 for a full health screening, or $1,000 to support a full clinic day, makes an immediate impact. Each contribution expands our reach, improves health outcomes, and helps train the next generation of healthcare professionals. Support .RAW Journal of Art and Design! .RAW .RAW Journal of Art and Design is a student-run magazine publication committed to creating a space where students in the Art and Design Department can publish their work. Highlighting photography, video, graphic design, studio art, and personal projects, .RAW aims to give students more opportunities to distribute their work to a larger audience. Each year .RAW publishes 4 issues: 3 quarterlies and 1 annual magazine. Each quarter, we have a team working on the production of the magazine, a team working to promote .RAW on Instagram and around campus, and an events team that plans our fundraising events and launches. We aim to print at least 100 copies of each quarterly issue that we release for free around campus. In addition, we publish everything for free on Cal Poly Digital Commons. For our annual magazine, production is on a larger scale, and we distribute about half of these copies at Open House in the spring. This coming year is especially imporant for .RAW because it marks the 10-year anniversary of the founding of our publication. To commemorate this achievement, we are producing an art book including works that span the 10 years of our publication. This book is completely student-produced, from designing to binding the book. This book debuted at Off Register, a book and print fair in Santa Barbara. We hope to be able to produce these special art books on a larger scale with the help of donor support. Your donations will help tremendously with the production of our publications. In order to achieve our goal of spreading art, we would love to be able to print more issues of our normally scheduled magazine, in addition to our 10th anniversary art book that we have the amazing opportunity to create. Cal Poly EMPOWER EMPOWER is a student-led, community-focused rehabilitative engineering club intended to offer students hands-on experiences that prepare them for careers in the medical device industry. Our mission is to provide impactful engineering solutions to benefit the community while partnering with medical device companies to help students develop technical expertise, critical thinking, and leadership skills. We welcome students from all backgrounds, with or without prior experience, to collaborate on projects that make a difference. Our projects, available annually and quarterly, are fully funded by EMPOWER and cover the costs of materials such as 3D printing supplies, machining tools, wood, metal, epoxy, resin, and other essentials. Our Challenge We need your support to help our projects reach their full potential and deliver the highest-quality solutions to the community. Donor support is crucial for the success of our projects and provides the necessary materials to maximize impact. Thirty-five students, led by Drs. Yost, Ritter, Taylor, and Francis, will embark on an epic field experience exploring reptiles and amphibians, birds, and plants in some of California’s most remarkable ecosystems. Their travels will span the Mojave and Sonoran deserts, the misty redwood forests of the North Coast, the volcanic landscapes surrounding Mount Lassen, the migratory bird wetlands of the Central Valley, and the rugged passes of the Sierra Nevada—a true immersion in the living diversity of the Golden State. Cal Poly’s Field Quarter gives students an unparalleled opportunity to experience the state’s diverse ecosystems through immersive, hands-on learning. Over the course of an entire quarter, students travel across California’s forests, deserts, coastlines, and mountains to conduct field research, identify plants and animals, and collect ecological data alongside faculty mentors. It is the embodiment of Cal Poly’s Learn by Doing philosophy. This tour is far more than just a series of concerts; it is an opportunity for young people to experience the world in ways that will shape their musicianship and their lives. By stepping into international concert venues, students will not only share their music but also encounter new cultures, traditions, and ways of living that expand their understanding of the world beyond California. Through this immersive "Learn by Doing" experience, students will learn to adapt and thrive in unfamiliar environments. From navigating the excitement of international travel to communicating across language barriers, they will gain skills that go far beyond the rehearsal hall. These challenges—both large and small—teach resilience, confidence, and the ability to connect with others, no matter the setting. Musically, students will experience the unique acoustics of world-class, historic concert halls, learning how their sound interacts with different spaces and audiences. This deepens their artistry and gives them an appreciation for how music transcends borders. Support the Cal Poly Steel Bridge Team! Cal Poly Steel Bridge Cal Poly Steel Bridge is a student-run competition team made up of undergraduate students in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. This project team blends technical knowledge with hands-on application, embodying Cal Poly’s “Learn by Doing” motto. In the Fall, new members are introduced to drafting software such as Civil 3D and SAP2000, and trained to safely dimension and weld their own mini-bridge. Concurrently, our captains begin designing the bridge that will be used in competition. During Winter, the team focuses on fabrication and machining, working collaboratively to produce precise members and connections for the bridge. Using mills, lathes, and CNCs, students construct a one-tenth scale steel bridge for competition. The team has advanced from the regional to the national level for the past two years. This year, we aim to bring as many students as possible to the regional competition in Los Angeles, with hopes of qualifying for nationals once again. Beyond travel, the cost of tools and materials remains a significant factor in ensuring this experience is accessible to all members. Support Cal Poly Students' Stage Cal Poly Students' Stage Students’ Stage is Cal Poly’s one of the only theater clubs on campus. The club provides opportunities for students of all majors to audition for and work on theatrical projects, and find community with people who share the love of theater. Students learn singing and acting techniques from directors, design lights for acts, run sound for shows, write short plays, and lots more! Everything is done for students by students. In the past we have done smaller performance revues in the style of cabaret shows, but this year we are producing our first full-length show: Puffs by Matt Cox. Producing a full-length show means designing and building an entire set, costumes, and all the props (Puffs has over 100). Our entire team is student run, backed, and funded. We will be working from week 1 to week 10 to build the show out of mobile materials and thrifted and created costumes. We are also fundraising to break even with the production rights cost and continue to be able to put on full shows and musicals. Your donation will allow Cal Poly students at Students’ Stage to put on this show for the general public the first week of December and make it the best it can be! Thank you for your support!

Cal Poly Rowing Cal Poly Rowing is a student-run club sport team founded just three years ago with a mission to build community, develop leadership, and compete at the highest level of collegiate rowing. In a short time, we’ve grown from a handful of students with a dream into a dedicated team of athletes who train early mornings while balancing rigorous academics. This fall, we have the incredible opportunity to compete at the Head of the American Regatta in Sacramento, California. LLEAP The Lower Limb Exoskeleton Assist Project (LLEAP) is a student-driven initiative aimed at developing a powered exoskeleton to restore upright mobility for individuals with paraplegia. LLEAP’s exoskeleton is a hard, active, bipedal exoskeleton that supports and powers motion at the hip, knee, and ankle joints. Designed to enable both sit-to-stand transitions and upright walking, the system incorporates a rigid structural frame, powered joints, and soft interface components that provide comfort and stability for the user. Development is divided among specialized teams that focus on systems integration, mechanical components, and control systems. These teams collaborate to design, manufacture, and control the exoskeleton. The project serves as a platform for students to immerse themselves in the medical technology field, applying their classroom knowledge to a real-world assistive technology challenge. Through this project, students gain experience in interdisciplinary collaboration, advanced prototyping, and human-centered design, contributing meaningfully to the future of exoskeletal innovation. LLEAP started in 2018, and the team is now completing its second major exoskeleton prototype. Your donation allows LLEAP to finalize manufacturing for the current exoskeleton prototype, test integrated controls, and begin the design and prototyping for an improved exoskeleton design. Support Cal Poly Human-Powered Vehicles! Human-Powered Vehicles Cal Poly HPV is on a mission to set a collegiate land speed record, and we need your help to do it! At Cal Poly Human-Powered Vehicles, we design, build, and race vehicles for competitions every year. We take our vehicles across the country to compete against other schools as well as professional HPV groups. Cal Poly HPV gives students invaluable experience applying what they learn in classrooms to real world scenarios and prepares them for careers in a variety of fields. Students learn vehicle dynamics and chassis design, fabrication, precision manufacturing, aerodynamic and mechanical analysis, and composite systems design and manufacturing. We are the oldest team in the world of any type, collegiate or professional, that has consistently designed, built, and raced fully-faired human-powered vehicles. The organization was founded in 1977, and has been breaking records and topping podiums ever since. Today’s students continue to push the team forward with the same drive for innovation and progress that the team has valued for decades. This year, we’ll start by making improvements to last year’s bike, testing it, and analyzing its performance. We’re also excited to start researching, designing, and manufacturing a new carbon-framed bike, in which we hope to set a new collegiate land speed record. Donations for this year will help us purchase build materials and fund our travel to the annual competition in Battle Mountain, Nevada. Design, Build, Fly Cal Poly Design Build Fly (DBF) is a competitive aerospace engineering club where students apply their skills outside the classroom to design, build, and fly innovative remote-controlled aircraft. The SAE Aero Design competition challenges thousands of students worldwide to apply research, testing, and analytical skills while developing teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving abilities. After many years of competing in the AIAA Design Build Fly competition, our team embraced a new challenge: SAE Aero Design West. In 2023, we designed and built a plane nearly twice as large as any we had built before, with a 55 lb takeoff weight and power limiter. Competing against teams from around the world, we placed 18th overall in only our third year at this competition. With this foundation, we are more motivated than ever to improve, innovate, and climb the ranks in the upcoming cycle. Your donation will make it possible for Cal Poly DBF to send 10-15 students to Fort Worth, Texas, to represent Cal Poly, compete at a high level, and gain invaluable hands-on experience. LIA is a professional, social, and cultural organization dedicated to creating a home away from home for underrepresented students in CAFES. Our mission is to foster student success in higher education by offering professional development, academic support, and social opportunities in a safe, fun, and welcoming environment where our members can thrive. We proudly welcome all students, regardless of major or background! Unlike many other clubs within CAFES, Latinos in Agriculture (LIA) is not directly affiliated with a specific academic department. While this allows us to serve a broader, more diverse student population, it has presented challenges when seeking consistent support. Despite these challenges, our commitment to supporting student success prevails. LIA has been long-dedicated to uplifting underrepresented students and creating a community-building environment that prioritizes inclusivity and empowerment for the next generation of agricultural leaders. This commitment, while meaningful, comes at significant financial costs. The event has led to the creation of more than 30 successful businesses, demonstrating the real impact of this experience in launching viable startups. Participants engage in customer development, market validation, and prototyping, which are skills essential for building a successful business. They also have the opportunity to hear from co-founders and CEOs who have launched their own companies and can provide insight into the startup journey. The event takes place at the CIE Hothouse, a dynamic co-working space in downtown San Luis Obispo, fostering an environment of innovation and collaboration. Beyond the experience itself, Start-Up Launch Weekend provides participants with networking opportunities, mentorship, and resources to bring their ideas to life. Teams also have the chance to win cash prizes to jumpstart their ventures, including $1,000 for first place, $750 for second place, and $500 for third place. Help the Women's Club Water Polo get to Nationals! Women's Water Polo Cal Poly Women’s Water Polo is a competitive club team of 35 student-athletes. We compete in tournaments throughout California as part of the Pacific Coast Division of the Collegiate Water Polo Association. The Cal Poly Women’s Water Polo Team is a club sport, funded almost entirely by our own fundraising efforts. Because our athletes pay dues, our goal as a program is to make participation as affordable as possible, and to ensure that financial difficulties are not a barrier to playing on our team. As a club sport, we have created a team focused not only on the love of playing water polo, but also on committing to a close-knit community. We choose to spend our time and energy amidst busy coursework to exercise together and cultivate a supportive, inclusive environment. The experience on this team is full of fun tournaments, team bonding, and practices, all of which help us create a proud community of athletes with a united drive to improve, grow, and win! We want all our athletes to feel welcomed onto our team and join us in building lifelong skills and friendships. The dues that our athletes pay cover league dues, tournament entry fees, equipment, pool space, lifeguards, transportation, hotel, and much more. KCPR thrives through student leadership, with our team members contributing to at least one of six dynamic teams: content, news, marketing, music, podcasting, and art. Project RattleCam is growing! Help students study rattlesnake behavior with a new live-streaming camera in Pennsylvania Project RattleCam The Physiological Ecology of Reptiles Lab (PERL) needs your support! A team of students and a faculty member from the Cal Poly Biological Sciences department are adding a new live-streaming camera on a rattlesnake den, allowing students to study rattlesnake behavior from coast to coast without disturbing these sensitive animals. RattleCam Pennsylvania will be placed on a den of Timber Rattlesnakes, adding to our Colorado cam on Prairie Rattlesnakes and our California cam on Western Rattlesnakes! A major goal of this project is to spread awareness and interest in rattlesnakes, answer questions about rattlesnake behaviors, and educate the public about these fascinating animals, all of which will be accomplished by live-chatting with viewers as footage is streamed live via YouTube. In addition, Biological Sciences students and Liberal Studies students have collaborated to create an 8-day curriculum called RattlEd, where 3rd to 5th graders collect data about rattlesnake behavior by watching the live stream. Our hope is that by live-streaming footage of rattlesnakes in their natural habitat, people viewing the live-stream in schools, museums, zoos, and online will see rattlesnakes for the docile and ecologically important animals that they really are! Due to the generosity of our donors, we have already funded the new camera and the live-streaming fees. The main costs associated with the project are the custom hardware that makes the camera run, travel to Pennsylvania to install the camera, and summer pay for Cal Poly students to engage in research and outreach via the rattlecam live feed. This project offers a wonderful opportunity for Cal Poly students, at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, to be involved with important research. Specifically, Cal Poly students will operate the camera remotely, interact with viewers on the Project RattleCam YouTube channel during the live stream, collect data from the live stream, and work with teachers to create educational materials for their students to use while viewing the live stream in the classroom. Send the Cal Poly Supermileage to the Shell Eco-Marathon at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Cal Poly Supermileage Club Cal Poly Supermileage is a team of dedicated engineers that design, manufacture, test and race electric vehicles for efficiency. We compete in the Shell Eco-Marathon at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, and we are determined to break the efficiency record for electric vehicles! One of our goals is to provide an engineering experience to all engineers at any level. We take time with our new members to train them with CAD software and get all the machine shop certifications they need ahead of their class requirements so they get a head start on their education and are set up for success! The Shell Eco-Marathon consists of two main categories: Prototype and Urban Concept. The Prototype vehicles are small, bullet-shaped, and are designed for hyper-efficiency. In past years, we have competed in the Prototype category. Our prototype design was 50 times more efficient than a Tesla, and we won an award for our prototype telemetry display system! In 2023, our team started designing a brand-new vehicle for the Urban Concept category of the Shell Eco-Marathon. Unlike our past prototype vehicles, the Urban Concept category is designed to be a street-legal vehicle that challenges the boundaries of efficiency of modern-day electric vehicles. It has headlights, taillights, a trunk space, a parking brake, and even working windshield wipers! Since this Urban Concept vehicle is much more intricate than our usual prototype vehicle, our budget for shipping, manufacturing, and testing is much higher than usual. In order to manufacture our newly designed vehicle and send it to competition, we need your help! A gift of any size will help us get closer to our fundraising goal, allowing us to complete our Urban Concept vehicle and send our team to Indianapolis for the Shell Eco-Marathon. Help the Cal Poly Swim Club attend the 2025 College Club Swimming National Championship! Cal Poly Swim Club We've reached our initial goal of $3,000! Thank you so much to all of our generous donors— we want to build off this success, so we've increased our goal to $5,000, which would allow us to further support our swimmers! _________________________________ It's that time of year again! The 2025 College Club Swimming National Championship is just around the corner. Cal Poly Swim Club members have swam hard in the last few months in order to qualify for this year's national competition, hosted by Arizona State University. In order to support our amazing swimmers who will be representing Cal Poly at the end of March, we need your help. We are asking for donations in order to support hotel costs, meet entries, rental cars, and gear for our competitors. Cal Poly Swim Club is the largest club sports team on campus, with around 100 members registered annually. We provide a space for all swimmers to work on their skills, no matter their level, to be the best athlete they can be. Practices are held 5 times a week and are run by our board members that have extensive swim experience and are committed to making practices productive, beneficial and fun to all members. CPSC is one of the top College Club Swim teams on the West Coast. We attend 2-3 meets a quarter for swimmers to compete and make cuts for the College Club Swimming National Championship. Last year at nationals in Indiana, Cal Poly placed 7th overall out of 120 schools, with the Women’s team placing 3rd overall. We had a handful of podium finishes in both individual events as well as relay races. In November 2024, the club participated in the Regional Championships hosted by UCSD where the team placed 2nd overall. Cal Poly broke 2 Regionals Meet records, along with 11 Cal Poly Swim Club records, and secured 34 national qualifying times. This year's national competition, Cal Poly is expecting to send 30 swimmers to the 3 day long competition in Arizona, taking place March 28th - March 30th. Please consider donating to support our athletes so they can succeed and focus on swimming fast. We are so proud of our hard working swimmers. Go Mustangs!

Help Cal Poly Swing host SLOx - a Lindy Hop Swing Dancing Exchange celebrating its 20th Anniversary! Cal Poly Swing Club Founded in 1998, CP Swing is a dance club at Cal Poly, SLO. We love to social dance and teach various Swing Dancing styles, including Lindy Hop, East Coast Swing, Balboa, and more! We have weekly lessons during the school year and host multiple social dances, which are open to students and community members alike. We strive to curate a positive, fun club and lesson environment where everyone feels welcome and encouraged to learn. This year, we’re bringing back what used to be the biggest event of the year, but hasn’t been hosted since 2020. SLOx started out as a hearts and roses themed dance to honor a couple that passed away shortly after graduating who had been heavily involved in the club. Over the years it grew into a nationally-recognized celebration of dance called a Lindy Exchange. It consists of three days of dancing, community building, and overall good times with people from various swing scenes around the state and country. This year will be the first SLOx in five years… a true 20’s Revival (that’s our theme)! As a club, our focus is making the joy of dancing completely accessible. In order to achieve this, almost everything we do is completely free for students. We don’t charge for our weekly lessons on Sundays and Wednesdays and provide free rides to the Madonna Inn weekly dances. We charge only for gas when we travel around the state and price merchandise and events at cost to encourage community and attendance. Because of this effort, we see our members inviting their friends to get involved not only for the dancing, but also for the community we’ve built. Historically, SLOx is our only fundraiser of each year. However, with late cancellations of the 2020 event, we need help getting it back on its feet. With an event of this scale on our hands, we need your help to make it a success! With three days of dancing and activities comes dance halls to reserve, food to provide, and bands to play, all of which you can help us provide! The Cal Poly Rose Float is a student-built float entered in the annual Pasadena Tournament of Roses Association’s Rose Parade. Since 1949, Cal Poly Rose Float has continuously designed, built, financed, and decorated the float entry in the annual Parade. Over the last 75 years, Cal Poly Rose Float has been awarded a total of 61 awards and trophies! “We have more students who are interested and would like to be a part of the Rose Float Program than we can accommodate. Biweekly meetings with professional speakers, mock interview sessions with Transportation Engineers, firm tours, competition involvement, and ITE conference participation advertise our members as the kind, dedicated, and passionate students they are. Every gift allows us to continue this Learn by Doing tradition as the world's oldest active Human Powered Vehicles Team! _________________________________ Cal Poly Human-Powered Vehicles (HPV) is on a mission to set a collegiate land speed record, and we need your help to do it! At Cal Poly Human-Powered Vehicles, we design, build, and race vehicles for competitions every year. We take our vehicles across the country to compete against other schools as well as professional HPV groups. Cal Poly HPV gives students invaluable Learn by Doing experience applying what they learn in classrooms to real world scenarios and prepares them for careers in a variety of fields. Students learn vehicle dynamics and chassis design, fabrication, precision manufacturing, aerodynamic and mechanical analysis, and composite systems design and manufacturing. We are the oldest team of any type, be it collegiate or professional, that has consistently designed, built, and raced fully-faired human-powered vehicles in the world. The organization was founded in 1977, and has been breaking records and topping podiums ever since. Today’s students continue to push the team forward with the same drive for innovation and progression that the team valued for decades. Here are some of our major expenses: $3000: Composite Materials including Carbon Fiber, Fiberglass, Epoxy, all required PPE, and other layup supplies $2000: Steel tubing, steel sheet, and other chassis manufacturing materials $1000: Bike components: wheels, hubs, chains, derailleurs, high-end bearings, brakes, pedals, and steering mechanisms $500: General supplies like paint, sandpaper, acetone, oil, and other materials $5000: Travel for 5-6 students—and our vehicle—to Nevada and back, hotel rooms for 6 nights, and food for the team This year, we intend to add to our men’s collegiate speed record of 64 mph with a women’s collegiate record as well, and because another record isn't enough, we plan on going faster than ever before. Donations for this year will help us purchase build materials and fund our travel to competition in Battle Mountain, Nevada. Cal Poly EMPOWER EMPOWER is a student-led club designed for aspiring engineers, offering hands-on experiences that prepare members for careers in the industry. Our mission is to provide impactful engineering solutions to benefit the community while partnering with medical device companies to help students develop technical expertise, critical thinking, and leadership skills. We welcome students from all backgrounds, with or without prior experience, to collaborate on projects that make a difference. Our projects, available annually and quarterly, are fully funded by EMPOWER, and cover the costs of materials such as 3D printing supplies, machining tools, wood, metal, epoxy, resin, and other essentials. "EMPOWER has provided me with a space to hone my technical skills, which led to my first internship. It was also the first time I felt accepted in the engineering community, connecting with the board, industry professionals, and general members. Help Cal Poly's Cycling Club compete in the Road Cycling National Championship Club Sports The Cal Poly Cycling Club, reigning Club Sports Team of the Year award winners, is seeking your support to send our athletes to the Collegiate Road Cycling Nationals! We are a club sports team at Cal Poly that competes regionally and nationally against other colleges and universities in both mountain biking and road cycling. Last year, the team had many successes at the national level, winning two National Championships in Dual Slalom and Cyclocross, while also taking home five other Nationals podiums. This year, we have already taken another two National podiums in gravel and dual slalom events. We hope to give our riders the chance to secure more National Championship hardware this year at the Collegiate Road Cycling National Championships in Albuquerque, NM in May. Our riders placed well last year with two top 10s, but we plan to send an even larger squad this year to compete for the team ominum. National events are costly for our riders to attend, and many riders need our support to compete to the greatest extent possible. Throughout the year, our riders have been diligently balancing their academics whilst training, deserving the opportunity to compete alongside the best in the country. Donations will go directly towards registration costs, travel, and lodging for our riders. This will help lift the financial pressure off our athletes so that they can focus on riding their bikes! We rely on the generosity of donors like you to help keep the club going. Every little bit helps. The Cal Poly Cycling Club thanks you for any and all support. At the State Championships hosted in Berkeley, two of our riders, Hannah Stackpole and Mattheus Johnson, were both able to defend their U23 District Champion titles for another year. Cal Poly Men's Club Volleyball is going to Nationals, help them get there! Club Sports Each year Cal Poly Men’s Club Volleyball team travels to the host site of the National Collegiate Volleyball Federation (NCVF) National Championships. This year the national tournament is in Kansas City, Missouri. Players have to pay for their own flights, but the club pays for hotel rooms for the athletes and coaches. Hotel rooms are the most expensive cost for the club. Depending on the time of year and location of Nationals, hotel rooms can be a lot for a club sports team to afford. Junior and club treasurer Noah Weitzel said, “I didn’t realize how expensive hotels were for our club until I became treasurer. Now I know that most of our club dues are going straight into hotel rooms for the guys.” We appreciate any help in covering our team's biggest expense! The National Tournament is what our entire season leads up to, and the success of our season is often gauged by how we do at “nattys.” In the past decade, we’ve finished in the top 10 six times at nationals. In that timespan, we’ve won the entire tournament, and finished second and third as well. We are one of the most competitive club sports on campus, and our athletes are the best of the best. Help us send our hardworking athletes to Nationals this year— the more donations we receive, the more our athletes can focus on competing at the highest level possible for Cal Poly! The teams’ biggest goal of this year includes competing at the highest level, winning the Northern California Collegiate Volleyball League (NCCVL), and winning the NCVF National Championships. We need your help to reach our goals and put Cal Poly Men’s Volleyball back on the map: a long-term goal of the team is to have Men’s Volleyball back as a NCAA Division 1 sport at Cal Poly. Both teams finished in the top 10 this year, and three of our players were All Americans. With a rebuilding year now complete, the program will look to reload going into next season. Help send Model UN students to compete at the LAMUN Conference Help Model UN send delegates to compete in the Los Angeles Model United Nations (LAMUN) hosted at UCLA April 11th -14th! San Luis Obispo Model United Nations is a competitive Model United Nations club, also known as Model UN or MUN for short, which is a competitive extra-curricular activity in which students take on the role of delegates to the United Nations and simulate UN committees. Thousands of college students worldwide participate in Model United Nations, which involves substantial research, public speaking, debating, and writing skills, as well as critical thinking, teamwork, and leadership abilities. University clubs host conferences, each having somewhere between five to fifty committees, each with topics that delegates get to explore. Students individually represent a country within a single committee during the conference and compete against hundreds of other delegates to take home an award. San Luis Obispo Model United Nations competes in the North American Circuit, which uses a ranking system dependent on individual student awards, awarding points to the delegate's school. Hundreds of delegates will be competing for just a small handful of awards. Though SLO Model UN has only existed for a year, the team has proven itself to be quite competitive. Having only attended 4 conferences, the club has already won 6 individual awards, 2 of which were won at the largest North American conference with over 2,000 delegates from around the globe! Your donation will allow Cal Poly students to go to Los Angeles to compete in the Los Angeles Model United Nations (LAMUN) and to bring home more awards! Our organization is composed of about thirty active members at Cal Poly, and our goal is to send fifteen to twenty students to each conference we attend. Thank you for your support!

Support Cal Poly's student-run and listener-supported radio station! KCPR For 56 years, KCPR has been on fire. Ignite the sound with your donation. “Is this the damn switch?” That phrase sparked the fire in August 1968 when KCPR hit the airwaves. For more than five decades KCPR has been serving Cal Poly and the greater San Luis Obispo area, fostering community and student development. While the station’s staff, location, and music have evolved over the years, our identity and community have remained rooted in our motto: Where Different Matters. In the past, present, and future, KCPR celebrates and prioritizes diverse sounds, voices, and perspectives in our music and programming. Every fire needs fuel. For our 2024 Pledge Drive, we invite donors, alumni, staff, and students to reflect on our rich history and ignite the sound. KCPR is student-run, with station staff being part of at least one of six teams: content, news, marketing, music, podcasting, and art. On each team, students gain experience working with cutting-edge technology to create innovative media. While balancing schoolwork, jobs, and extracurriculars, KCPR students attend weekly meetings, volunteer at booths on and off campus, and create content such as live Burnt Dog Sessions, podcasts, and artwork. Our student writers and reporters write articles and produce weekday newscasts about the community we love. Currently, our unpaid student staff of about 70 volunteers work 6 or more hours a week in the station. Our 10 paid student managers receive stipends that cover about 5 hours of work per week, while they typically work upwards of 20 hours. Your donation can help create more paid positions and provide better pay for our team. Along with increasing stipends, your donation will help enhance student experiences. Pledge Drive funds pay for students to attend academic conferences, submit their work for national awards, cover music festivals, book bands for concerts, and much more. As the station evolves the cost of staying on air increases. The anticipated cost of maintaining our infrastructure over the next five years is $125,000, not including recent storm damage totaling $8,500. After years of use, one expected expenditure is the need to repair the studio A and B audio consoles to keep them going. Help students studying rattlesnake behavior with a live-streaming camera at a rattlesnake “mega-den” in Colorado. Project Rattlecam A team of students and a faculty member from the Cal Poly Biological Sciences and Animal Science departments are joining forces to study rattlesnakes at a “mega-den” with hundreds of rattlesnakes. We are raising the funds required to install a live-streaming camera so that we can study their behavior from afar without disturbing them. Another goal of this project is to spread awareness and interest in rattlesnakes, answer questions about rattlesnake behaviors, and educate the public about these fascinating animals, all of which will be accomplished by live-chatting with viewers as footage is streamed live via YouTube. Our hope is that, by live-streaming footage of rattlesnakes in their natural habitat, people viewing the live-stream in schools, museums, zoos, and online, will see rattlesnakes for the docile and ecologically important animals that they really are! At the same time, our students are gaining real-world Learn by Doing experience! For the past two summers, students have been studying rattlesnakes with a live-streaming camera placed at a small, local den. We now plan to expand this project by installing a camera at a den with up to 2000 rattlesnakes! This project offers a wonderful opportunity for Cal Poly students, both at the undergraduate and graduate level, to be involved with important research. Specifically, Cal Poly students will operate the camera remotely, interact with viewers on the Project RattleCam YouTube channel during the live stream, collect data from the live stream, and work with teachers to create educational materials for their students to use while viewing the live-stream in the classroom. KCPR Fundraising Team Where different matters, you can make a difference. These past few years at KCPR, we’ve been focused on growth — building upon the legacy left by our alumni with the help of our donors and community. We have been innovating, developing, and integrating KCPR and Mustang Media Group. Last year, we asked you to usher us into the new era of KCPR with your support. Thanks to you, we’ve made it. Welcome to the New Era of KCPR. Each week of our 6-week-long pledge drive, you will receive a newsletter from us with an update on how close we have gotten to our goal of $20,000. Each newsletter will focus on a different cornerstone of KCPR, including our alumni, families, supporters, community, and students. Starting April 17th, Len Filomeo and Earl Ruby will match the first $2,000 donated to KCPR's Pledge Drive that week. Big thanks to Len Filomeo, Earl Ruby, Neal Losey, and Bruce Flohr for all they do for our station. Innovation During the pandemic, our student volunteers inevitably had to get creative with their craft, which sparked innovation in our station. In 2020, we had 5 DJs recording remotely from their homes. Today, we have 20 DJs on staff working hard to train 20 more new DJs. KCPR’s new podcast team has released four different podcasts with a growing audience across all streaming platforms. We’ve seen the birth of new roles at KCPR in marketing and art that have brought cohesion to our station. In 2021, we on-boarded our first Art Director, who designed station merchandise and branding for KCPR. Now, our current Art Director manages a team of over a dozen individuals who curate the station’s image on social media, online, and on campus. We’ve added multiple positions to our marketing team, including a fundraising manager whose sole focus is to bring our alumni, parents, and donors into the conversation about what we do here at KCPR. The new class of DJ trainees meet in the station for the first time. Development With a portion of the funds raised from last year, we could afford to pay our student leaders a bigger stipend, allowing them to spend more time developing our sound, our news, our content, and our brand. With a rising budget, KCPR has been able to host events like Open Mic and Friday Night Invite at Open House, attracting new talent to our station and raising awareness about who KCPR is. Your donations helped send KCPR to the Intercollegiate Broadcasting Systems (IBS) Conference in New York City and the Associated College Press (ACP) Conference, where KCPR was nominated for multiple awards. Student leaders learned invaluable information at the conference about ways to improve our station and won national recognition for the Best Giveaway and Best Cover Page. Integration As we develop and grow at KCPR, we seek the opportunity to collaborate with each other, across platforms at MMG, and with our partner organizations, such as Shabang, SLO Brew Rock, and Boo Boo Records. Our members often work on multiple teams combining their passion for music with their passion for art or their love of news with the creativity of content. Our members work to uplift each other’s work and highlight the best in each individual at KCPR. We have made concrete efforts along with Mustang News to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion at MMG with station-wide diversity training, a new DEI committee, and a public forum to engage with the community we serve. Mustang News on KCPR gained national recognition this year with the coverage of the Kristin Smart trial, which required collaboration across all platforms. This year, we had an unprecedented number of ticket giveaways with our partnerships like SLO Brew Rock and Fremont Theater, and teamed up with Shabang to promote events like Battle of the Bands. We strive to build technology that will improve someone's quality of life while teaching students and learning along each step of the way. Aiming for completion in 2024, LLEAP is currently designing and building an exoskeleton for a student with a spinal cord injury, with the goal of providing mobility assistance and improved quality of life. This project is a Learn by Doing opportunity for engineers to develop practical solutions to real-life problems occurring in the surrounding community. Cal Poly Distance Club Cal Poly Distance Club One of the largest, most memorable undertakings for Cal Poly Distance Club is our annual trip to Nationals. Last Fall our men's team placed an impressive 2nd place in the nation. It was also the first time in our club's history that we were able to race a full women's team at Nationals. This year we hope to build on our success and go for the championship and you can help! Because the race is always held in the eastern United States, traveling is a huge expense. These expenses include airfare, hotels, rental cars, and our team dinner. Prior to 2021, the club brought 8 athletes to race at Nationals (seven men and one woman). For the past two seasons, we increased this number to a total of 24 athletes (12 men and 12 women), raising costs greatly. Our club is growing, in competition and community, and we would love to continue to offer this incredible opportunity to 24 athletes, but we need your support. Our club team is supported almost entirely by donations and fundraising and the generosity of our donors enables us to continue to succeed at a high level. You donation directly impacts students in the Cal Poly Distance Club, and the Learn by Doing opportunities and memories made by being part of a club sport. We compete in tournaments throughout California, and are a part of the Pacific Coast Division of the Collegiate Water Polo Association. Last year, we received first place in our division, and are hoping to win again this year! Winning our division would give us a bid to nationals, which is being hosted at UCLA this spring. The Cal Poly Women's Water Polo Team is a club sport, funded almost entirely by donations and our fundraising efforts. Because our athletes have to pay dues, our goal as a program is to make participation as affordable as possible, and to ensure that financial difficulties are not a barrier to playing. We want all of our athletes to be a part of our supportive community that builds lifelong skills and friendships. Our athlete dues help to cover league dues, tournament entry fees, new equipment, pool space, lifeguards, transportation to tournaments, hotels for Nationals, and more. Any donation would be a significant help in decreasing the financial burden on our student-athletes. CP Men's Lacrosse Mustang Family, After winning the WCLL championship we have been selected as the 12th seed in the 2022 MCLA National Championship Tournament. The Cal Poly Men’s Lacrosse Team will be traveling to Round Rock, Texas to compete for the national title!! We are extremely excited but we need your help to get there. Cal Poly Lacrosse operates and prepares like a varsity sport, but is a club team in the eyes of the university. Despite several league titles and 2 national championship game appearances in the last 8 years, we receive less than 1% of our annual operating budget from the university. As we are almost an entirely player funded program, we try to keep dues as low as possible for our players. Traveling to Texas comes with many expenses like airfare, hotels, buses, and more. In order to be able to participate this year, we need more funding to get there. This season has been an incredible ride for our team and we can’t wait to compete for the MCLA title. Send the Precision Agriculture and Automation Club to the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers Robotics Student Design Competition BRAE Robotics Team Students involved in the BioResource and Agricultural Engineering Department’s Precision Agriculture and Automation Club get first-hand experience in problem solving, developing robotic systems, and providing autonomous solutions to existing needs in the agricultural industry and beyond. We ask for your support to send the Precision Agriculture and Automation Club to the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers (ASABE) International Meeting’s robotics competition July 17-20 in Houston, Texas. Students are currently working to design, assemble, and program an autonomous cotton-picking robot to compete in the annual ASABE Robotics Student Design Competition. This international event challenges students to develop skills in robotic systems, electronics, and sensing technologies by simulating a fully autonomous robotics solution to a common agricultural process. Leading up the competition, students will: Brainstorm several robot concepts to complete the challenge posed by ASABE. Perform an engineering alternatives analysis to select the best candidates for participation in the competition. Fabricate, program, test, and refine a robot to prepare it for the competition. Prepare a poster and a video describing the development and function of the robot. A subset of the team, anywhere from five to seven students depending on the amount of money raised, will then travel to Houston in July to participate in the competition at the 2022 ASABE International Meeting. In addition to competing with the robot, the students will present the team's poster to peers and judges from both industry and academia. The students will also attend academic and professional presentations in agricultural and biological engineering and network with students from other participating universities. The team’s participation in the international event will not only expand Cal Poly's reputation for excellence in agricultural and engineering education, but also encourage students to develop their professional networks and broaden their understanding of the agriculture industry.

Cal Poly Racing allows us to combine our knowledge from the classroom and hands-on experiences in the machine shops to create elite racing vehicles with impressive capabilities. Each year the Cal Poly Racing team places highly amongst teams from across the world, and we are eager to get back on the racetrack to compete wheel-to-wheel with our competitors for the first time in 3 years. Despite the virtual format of the 2020 and 2021 competitions, our teams placed well in the design and business sectors, and we are eager to see our vehicles in action on the East Coast! We are currently fundraising in order to send our students and vehicles to compete in the Formula SAE competition in Brooklyn, Michigan in June. Support Cal Poly Logging Team to travel and compete at the 82nd annual Association of Western Forestry Clubs (AWFC) conclave University Montana April Cal Poly Logging Team We ask for your support in sending the Cal Poly Logging Team to the 82nd Association of Western Forestry Clubs (AWFC) conclave at the University of Montana in Missoula, Montana this April. Given our team’s recent first place title against six other teams at the Sierra Cascade Logging Conference in Anderson, CA this past February, we are excited to send our top 16 competitors to Missoula to defend our title. Cal Poly is also the defending champion of this conclave, having taken first overall in 2019 at Colorado State. After a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic, our team is eager to compete at the western level to defend that title. We need $10,000 to help pay for the costs of lodging, 1,200 miles of travel, food, and the competition expenses of 16 competitors to attend the biggest competition in the west. The Cal Poly Logging Team is a traditional timber sports team that competes in events such as chopping, sawing, tree climbing, axe throwing, burling, dendrology, and much more. Competing at AWFC is a great way for the team to show off their training and test themselves and to represent Cal Poly’s “Learn By Doing” philosophy at the western college stage. We are thrilled with the generous support we've received in reaching our initial goal in just ten days! Given this success, we are on track to be able to have three more students join us with just a little more help. We've stretched our goal from $10,000 to $15,000 so that we can maximize the number of students who can take part in this incredible opportunity. Cal Poly’s Soil Judging Team has a legacy of success and is seeking to continue that by competing in a national competition in April. We ask for your support to send Cal Poly’s Soil Judging Team to the 2022 National Collegiate Soils Contest at Ohio State University in April. Our team of nine dedicated student soil scientists is excited to compete in person for the first time since 2019, when we last hosted the national contest at Cal Poly. We need to raise at least $10,000 to fund student travel, lodging and food costs to attend nationals. We are asking for your financial support to get there. During the competition we describe, classify, and interpret soils as a professional soil scientist would, under a time constraint. Cal Poly’s soil judging team has a longstanding tradition of excellence dating back more than 50 years. Many of our soil science alums fondly remember attending competitions across the state and the country, showcasing Cal Poly’s Learn by Doing spirit, and making lifelong friends in the process. Help the Pilipino Cultural Exchange make this years Pilipino Cultural Night the best ever! What is PCE? The Pilipino Cultural Exchange (PCE) is an organization that provides a “home away from home” for anyone in the Cal Poly community who needs it. PCE is a club that consists of members from diverse backgrounds, life experiences, and goals, but together we are a family. We strive to provide unique personal, social, cultural, and academic resources that benefit every student that crosses our way. Our members are assisted in academia through our mentor-mentee program, as well as participate in our kuya/ate/ading program (our version of a big/little program) where many life-long friendships, memories, and traditions are forged and remembered. With three non-audition performing groups, our members are given numerous platforms that foster personal growth and self-expression. Our Modern dance group is known for its hip hop, contemporary, and pop-influenced style and dance. Our choir, Ating Himig offers individuals the opportunity to show off their singing abilities. Our cultural dance troupe, Kasayahan, allows members to take part in learning the cultural dances of the Philippines. We also host numerous social events, sporting and recreational events, and hold regular cultural and political dialogues and spaces for our members. Along with various community outreach efforts, and our annual Pilipino Cultural Night, our organization strives to share culture, and a positive influence with our members, fellow student body and wider community. What is PCN?Pilipino Cultural Night (PCN) is a tradition that is set in the foundations of Pilipinx organizations all throughout California. This is the opportunity for students to learn about issues that our relevant in, not only the Pilipinx-American community, but in many marginalized communities, and to showcase the diverse talents of our members through choral performance, traditional and modern dance, acting, and stage production. The show is entirely student-run, encouraging participants to develop and improve upon skills that could be applicable in the real-world, such as, time management, communication, and leadership. This show also strives to educate students on social issues, and to help them discover their passions outside of a classroom setting. Additionally, the nature of this show conveys the message that the people you see every day experience many different things that may stem from differences in culture, gender, tradition, socioeconomic status, environment, etc; but, at the end of the day, everyone is deserving of respect, dignity, and happiness in their identities. Overall, this year’s PCN is an event that aims to teach about the everyday plights of, not only Pilipino-Americans, but people of all marginalized communities, in hopes of creating a mutual understanding and respect among all individuals on campus. Help the Triathlon team run, swim, and bike to the Triathlon Collegiate Nationals in Lake Lanier, Georgia! We are the Cal Poly Triathlon Team, one of the largest clubs on campus composed of swimmers, bikers, and runners across every experience level. Our primary goal as a club is to make the expensive sport of triathlon accessible and affordable for every athlete. From a complete beginner in all three sports, to high school swimmers and cross country runners, to experienced elite triathletes, our team provides a community for everyone to enjoy and grow in the sport. This year, our usual conference season has been reduced from the pandemic, but we still have the opportunity to race at the national level. Given our team’s recent top 5 overall ranking at the USA Triathlon Collegiate Nationals this past September, we are excited to send our top 16 most devoted athletes to Lake Lanier, Georgia to defend our title this April. Our athletes have invested substantial amounts of time and money into training for triathlon, so our goal with this fundraiser is to help subsidize the costs of competing at a national championship in an already expensive sport. Most of our athletes have already invested hundreds to thousands of dollars into the variety of equipment it takes to be a multi-sport athlete: wetsuit, goggles, bicycle, helmet, running shoes, racing kit, etc. Every bit of fundraising we can do helps make this sport and the National Championship more affordable and accessible for our athletes who have devoted so much to this team already.

Help provide resources and equipment for Cal Poly Club Sailing. Club Sailing Cal Poly Sailing is a club sport team that competes in intercollegiate races against other West Coast universities and provides hands-on sailing experience for Cal Poly students. We are a member of the Pacific Coast Collegiate Sailing Conference, an intercollegiate sailing delegation that hosts competitions at various campuses throughout the West Coast. This allows us to travel throughout California and even nationwide for certain regattas and national competitions. As our team is a club sport, we focus heavily on preparing team members to compete at the collegiate level, honing skills and tactics used when racing against other teams. However, one of the primary appeals of the Cal Poly Sailing Team is our developmental components, where we give Cal Poly students with little or no sailing experience the opportunity to learn foundational sailing skills. We accept all students interested regardless of their experience level, hosting clinics and developmental practices to get students out on the water. The cost of participation for students is extremely low when compared to other sailing institutions as our team covers travel fees, boat maintenance, and other costs associated with our sport. As equipment maintenance and purchases are costly, as well as the costs of traveling to our competitions, we are extremely grateful for the opportunities this crowdfunding campaign gives us! Support Cal Poly Swim Club through another successful season! Cal Poly Swim We are the Cal Poly Swim Club, a non-profit club that is run by its elected Board of Directors and coached by an alumni of the Cal Poly Swim Club. All members are welcome at each meeting and encouraged to be involved in team activities and fundraisers. Cal Poly Swim Club has over 100 members and is constantly growing! We offer high-quality professional coaching that can reach swimmers of all abilities. The goal of our team is to provide every member an opportunity to improve their swimming skills and achieve success at their level of ability, from beginner to international competitor. This is our first year back from the pandemic where we get to practice and compete as a team. One of our goals is to raise money in order to send as many qualifying swimmers to nationals. Nationals is the biggest meet of the year that will be occurring in Georgia against all other college swim clubs across the nation. It is very expensive to provide transportation, housing, and meet fees for this event, so we are hoping to alleviate the cost with this fundraiser. This is the very last nationals meet for our senior swimmers who only got to go once, and is the very first nationals meet for the rest of the team! We appreciate all the help we can get!
