Mustang Family,
After winning the WCLL championship we have been selected as the 12th seed in the 2022 MCLA National Championship Tournament. The Cal Poly Men’s Lacrosse Team will be traveling to Round Rock, Texas to compete for the national title!!
We are extremely excited but we need your help to get there. Cal Poly Lacrosse operates and prepares like a varsity sport, but is a club team in the eyes of the university. Despite several league titles and 2 national championship game appearances in the last 8 years, we receive less than 1% of our annual operating budget from the university. As we are almost an entirely player funded program, we try to keep dues as low as possible for our players.
Traveling to Texas comes with many expenses like airfare, hotels, buses, and more. In order to be able to participate this year, we need more funding to get there.
This season has been an incredible ride for our team and we can’t wait to compete for the MCLA title.
