Cal Poly is proud to welcome students who have experienced foster care into our community. Help us give these students a proper welcome right when they step foot on campus by providing the dorm essentials they need for a fresh start!
Students who have experienced foster care often don't have the funds to purchase everything they need to outfit a dorm room, from bedding and towels to desk lamps, laundry supplies, and much more!
Your contributions will help us provide the supplies that all students need and deserve to start their new journey as Mustangs. A gift of any amount helps us ensure personal and academic success for these students and provides them with a warm welcome to Cal Poly!
A $50 gift allows us to purchase emergency supplies such as first aid kits and flashlights for our former foster youth students.
A $100 gift allows us to provide former foster youth students with basic dorm room items such as a desk lamp, toiletries, power strips, or a small personal safe.
A $250 gift allows us to purchase a bedding set, towels and a bathrobe, or laundry supplies for an incoming student.
A generous $500 gift allows us to purchase school supplies such as notebooks, binders, and other academic essentials for our former foster youth students.
A generous $1000 gift allows us to provide a fully outfitted room to one former foster youth student. Thank you!
