Cal Poly Badminton Club is one of the most active sports clubs on campus, providing both recreational and competitive opportunities for players of all skill levels. As part of the Southern California Collegiate Badminton League (SCCBL), we practice year-round and compete against other universities, striving for excellence while also fostering a fun and inclusive environment. Our club is not just about competition — we offer a variety of social events to create lasting friendships and memories. From game nights to beach outings and end-of-year banquets, there’s something for everyone!
In addition to these social opportunities, our club travels to Southern California throughout the year to participate in scrimmages and a variety of competitive tournaments. These events offer our players invaluable experience, from sharpening their skills against tough competition to building friendship with teammates and opponents alike. To ensure our members have the best possible training environment, we also provide top-quality feather shuttlecocks at every practice, allowing our athletes to improve their game with the equipment used in high-level competitions.
To keep providing these opportunities for our members, we greatly appreciate the support of generous donors like you. Your contributions help cover some of our biggest expenses, including badminton shuttlecocks, travel, lodging, and registration fees for league tournaments. This past season, we were fortunate to compete in multiple tournaments like the Bruin Open and the Spring Davis Open, demonstrating our team’s dedication and hard work. With your help, we’re excited to continue growing and building on that success!
This year, we’re want to fundraise to help make our competitions more affordable for our players, as well as to invest in new team gear and equipment. These funds will help cover tournament fees, transportation, and provide new rackets, shuttlecocks, and uniforms to elevate our team’s presence.
