Our Crowdfunding Groups
We are seeking funding to help support our second annual Engineering Perspectives and Impact Conference. We would like to start a tradition of hosting this conference every spring and need funding to help bring guest speakers to the event, provide lunch for the speakers and attendees, as well as assist with promotion for the conference. This event helps promote a variety different fields of engineering, and gives students an opportunity to learn about different careers and impacts that they can achieve by going into different engineering fields. So far, over 200 students are looking to attend the event.
This event will positively affect the Cal Poly community by providing students a chance to learn about engineering possibilities in a relaxed, outside-of-the-classroom environment. This event helps students pinpoint future career paths catered to their passions and connects them with professors and professionals in the industry. At the years go on, we plan on growing and developing this event so that a broader spectrum of students can be influenced in a positive way.
A gift of $21 will fund the meals for two students attending the event. As a thank you, all of our donors will receive a shout-out on social media!
A generous donation of $43 will assist in promoting and building awareness of EPIC to students and local media. A student will send a personal thank you to donors at this level.
Help us provide food, lodging, and transportation for our guest speakers! Donors who give at this level will also receive a handwritten card from one of our thankful students.
A generous gift of $200 shows leadership! To show our appreciation, we'll recognize leadership levels gifts at the EPIC event.
A gift at the $500 level will make you an ASME Preferred Partner, and you'll receive special recognition at the EPIC to show our immense appreciation.
