About TEDxSanLuisObispo:
On behalf of the TEDxSanLuisObispo team, we would like to present the fourth annual TEDxSanLuisObispo event this Winter Quarter. The TEDxSanLuisObispo team is a group of passionate young leaders dedicated to providing a unique platform for individuals to share their visions in the pursuit of igniting passion for knowledge. Students who host this event walk away with not only professional development from putting on an event of this size, but also the success the conference entails. Ultimately, our goal is to inspire citizens to become catalysts for improvement and change through “Ideas Worth Spreading.” Nearly 1,300 individuals are presented with captivating speeches that challenge ideas and stimulate discussions, centered around the theme, “Xpanding Horizons.” The TEDx team is comprised entirely of Cal Poly students who are donating their dedicated time and effort to host one of the most ambitious and inspiring TEDx event the San Luis Obispo community has yet to experience.
Why Donate:
To feasibly host another successful event of this size, our team needs help with funding and overhead expenses for the event. This year, we are striving to receive funding to expand our vision of bringing out San Luis Obispo’s best and brightest for the benefit of the community.
