ABOUT US
Cal Poly Women’s Water Polo is a competitive team of 30 dedicated athletes. We have been the champions of the Pacific Coast Division and competed at the Collegiate Water Polo Association National Tournament for the past three consecutive years. Our goal this season is to qualify for Nationals again and we need your help to get us there!
WHY DONATE?
Cal Poly Women’s Water Polo is a club sport, which means that our team is primarily student-run and self-funded. Our program is pay-to-play, so all of our athletes participate because of their passion for water polo. The team provides us the opportunity to play the sport that we love, be a part of a supportive community, and gain lifelong skills and friendships.
Our team is responsible for paying for league dues, tournament entry fees, equipment, coaches fees, pool space, lifeguards, trainers for home games, transportation to tournaments, and hotels at Nationals. Any donation would be a significant help in lessening the financial burden on our student-athletes. We have only made it this far because of the constant support from our parents, families, and friends. We need your continuing support to allow us to have another successful and memorable season! Our team appreciates donations of any kind and thank you in advance.

Your generous donation of $10 provides one meal for a student athlete while we are traveling for a tournament!
A generous donation of $35 covers the cost of lifeguard fees for one of our daily water polo practices!
$50 will provide gas money for our players to drive to a tournament!
A generous donation of $75 provides a player with a team water polo suit for the season!
A generous $100 donation pays for a one night stay at a hotel for an away game!
A generous donation of $250 covers the cost of one plane ticket for a player or coach to travel to the Nationals tournament. We expect to be there!
A generous donation of $1000 covers the costs for our team to host a tournament!
