Cal Poly Cycling
Cycling is an amazing hobby, but it can be expensive!
Every year prospective and current students stop by the Cal Poly Cycling booth at Open House (April 13-15) but end up walking away without joining the team because they don't have or can't afford a bike. We want to change that!
Our team is asking for donations to start a Loaner Bike Program, enabling students to enjoy the sport of cycling without the financial commitment of purchasing a bike. With your help, the Cal Poly Cycling Team would be able to purchase 20 team bikes to launch this program. We plan to provide loaner bikes that would be loaned out on a quarterly basis, allowing a plethora of new members to reap the benefits of our club without worrying about the financial cost of entry.
This program would make the Cal Poly Cycling Team more inclusive and accessible, allow more people the opportunity to ride bikes and offer people a way to train while saving up for a bike of their own. Thank you for helping us make cycling available to all!
$50 will cover the cost of either a helmet or bike pedals for one member.
