About MBP Conference:
The Matter Belong Persist Conference (MBPC) is an annual one day conference focused on preparing emerging business leaders for success in a diverse and multicultural world, hosted by OCOB’s Multicultural Business Program. Inclusion Starts with Authenticity is the theme of this year’s conference, where we will host workshops focused on how authenticity is the basis for impactful leadership, successful relationship building, and strong corporate environments.
MBPC connects students and emerging business leaders to networking opportunities for the purpose of making meaningful connection with industry leaders. By bringing leaders and students together, we create a space where students engage in critical conversations, think creatively, and build a culture of inclusivity on campus. Emphasizing inclusivity, the conference welcomes students from diverse backgrounds and majors, fostering an environment of diversity, equity, and inclusion. We provide a space for amplifying discussions that are crucial for advancing social justice and addressing issues faced by underrepresented students.
About MBP:
The Multicultural Business Program is a community led by students within the Orfalea College of Business which offers resources to underrepresented, traditionally underserved, and marginalized students in higher education and business. Through the program, students are empowered with resources and professional support to matter, belong, and persist to graduation and beyond.
