Nuts and Bolts
Little things add up when constructing and building any engineering project, especially a project as intricate as a vehicle built for efficiency.
$100
Telemetry Testing
Our award-winning telemetry system is constantly being improved. In order to test this system, our team goes to the Santa Maria Airport to get an accurate test run of what the vehicle might encounter during the race. In order to make it to the airport, we need special access that requires badges, which increases our expenses.
$200
Stock Materials
Our vehicles are almost entirely manufactured by our team, which requires materials to make the Urban Concept vehicle a reality.
$500
Hub Motor
Our electric vehicle uses a hub motor mounted to the back wheel in order to power the car forward. This is one of our other biggest expenses, and your donation can single-handedly bring our vehicle to life!
$1,000
Carbon Fiber and Epoxy
The shell of our vehicle is constructed with a carbon fiber layup, which is ultra-light and strong. These materials, however, are quite expensive, so we need your help to cover the costs!
