The Event

Help the Cal Poly Swing Dance Club host our Fall 2025 Workshop! As one of the only clubs on campus with free lessons, donations are integral in bringing helping us bring exciting events to the Central Coast swing dancing scene. Our first big event this year is our Fall Workshop, where we will be bringing in professional dance teachers for lessons and a live band for a social dance. This workshop is a much-anticipated opportunity for new and experienced dancers to learn and level up their skills.  

The Club

Cal Poly Swing Dance Club is a partner dancing club, specializing in styles like Lindy Hop, East Coast Swing, and Balboa. We lead weekly lessons during the school year and host multiple social dances, which are open to students and community members alike. We strive to curate a positive and fun club and lesson environment where everyone feels welcome and encouraged to learn. 

Our club is dedicated to making the joy of dancing as accessible as possible. That’s why nearly everything we offer is free. We provide weekly lessons on Sundays and Wednesdays at no cost, as well as free rides to the weekly dances at the Madonna Inn. The only expenses we charge are for large events (to cover costs) and for gas on long-distance trips. Because of this, donations go a long way in helping us create even better dance, workshop, and lesson experiences.
