Help Attorneys in the Margin Host the Spring Mixer!

Cal Poly Attorneys in the Margin's mission is to bridge the gap between undergraduate education and legal careers by providing practical, hands-on guidance that directly addresses the educational, financial, and professional barriers that many students face when preparing for law school. We serve students traditionally excluded from the legal pipeline, while remaining inclusive to all. As all can equally benefit from this experience. Our organization is built around the principle of “Just-Us, For Us, By Us,” reflecting our commitment to justice, identity, access, and community.

Attorneys in the Margin is hosting a social mixer this spring to unite Cal Poly students from marginalized communities and all aspiring Cal Poly attorneys, as well as Cal Poly Alumni, local attorneys, SLO law students, and other paraprofessionals. Our initiative is to create a space where the local legal community and aspiring attorneys at Cal Poly can connect, build relationships, share experiences, learn about different lines of work in the legal field, and local legal work needed in the community. We want this to be a beneficial experience for all students attending as well as local community members.

We need your support to make this Spring Mixer a reality! Since we are a brand new club and this is our first year, our goal is to expand and continue to grow our club resources and provide opportunities for connection and support for Cal Poly students pursuing a career in law!
