Help Andaaz Fusion Dance Team Compete Nationally!

Cal Poly Andaaz is the university’s premier nationally competitive, co-ed Indian Fusion dance team. We bring a high-energy blend of styles to the stage, fusing the rhythmic power of Bhangra and the grace of Contemporary with the "groove" of Hip-Hop. As part of a massive collegiate league, we represent Cal Poly against hundreds of universities nationwide, bridging Indian and Western cultures through the universal language of dance.

Despite being in only our second year of competition, Andaaz has already made waves on the national circuit. After taking first place at UCSB’s Nachle Deewane last year, we recently traveled across the country to Purdue University, where we secured a fourth-place win at Nasha. On campus, we are proud fixtures of the Illuminate showcase and various Indian Student Association events, always striving to put Cal Poly in the national spotlight.

However, the road to a national trophy comes with significant costs. Our dancers dedicate countless hours to rehearsals, but the financial burden of out-of-pocket expenses–including transportation, lodging, and competition fees—can be a barrier to participation. Your support ensures that our team can focus on their choreography and performance rather than the price of a plane ticket.
