Support the Cal Poly Food Pantry
Description
This November, make a gift to the Cal Poly Food Pantry, and make an immediate difference in the lives of students.
The Cal Poly Food Pantry needs your help! Demand is up: the Food Pantry is now serving approximately 5,000 students each week, up from 4,000 a week last year, with shelves often empty by noon. We need your help now more than ever to ensure Cal Poly students facing food insecurity have easy access to free groceries and fresh produce.
To address the current need, we've set a goal to raise $15,000 to provide much-needed funds to keep the pantry fully stocked with food for students.
Cal Poly Food Pantry
It is estimated that approximately 39% of students experience food insecurity at some point during their career at Cal Poly.
To address this concern, Cal Poly established the Food Pantry, which ensures that all students have access to nutritious meals every day in order to stay focused on their success. The Food Pantry provides students in need with a wide variety of packaged and canned foods, frozen meals, fresh produce and groceries and personal hygiene products. On-campus meal vouchers are also available for students who are in immediate need of a meal.
