Donors, through your generous support and the power of unity we have exceeded our $1,500 goal by 25% in just 30 days! Your donations will go toward student meals, t-shirts, and other supplies for the conference, and the extra money raised will provide transportation to at least one school, something new to this year's XYC! XYC is around the corner and the student volunteers are extremely excited. Wow, we have reached our initial goal of $1,500!

Thank you so much to everyone who donated on Giving Tuesday to help us reach our goal! Our campaign will continue for the next six days in hopes of continuing to raise money for the Xicanx Youth Conference in February. We are just $250 shy of being able to provide transportation to the conference for students that are hindered by travel. It is because of this that we have set a stretch goal, increasing the total amount of money we hope to raise to $1,750! By helping us reach our new goal to provide transportation to students that are usually unable to attend, we will be able to create greater diversity at the conference and welcome even more underrepresented students to join us for XYC!

Your support through donations and sharing our campaign on social media has helped us reach our initial goal we couldn’t be more thankful. It is because of you that MEXA will be able to provide high school students with the necessary tools to learn about and find a passion for higher education. You've made a difference in MEXA! As Giving Tuesday continues and our campaign approaches its final week, our campaign's success would not have been possible without the generous support of donors. We would like to sincerely thank you again for your contributions. It is because of you that MEXA will be able to host a motivational Xicanx Youth Conference this coming February. The high school students that are attending the conference at Cal Poly will have the opportunity to attend various informational workshops about higher education.

Hello everyone!

Thank you to everyone who has donated to our campaign and shared it on social media. It is because of your generous contributions that we have reached over half of our goal! Your support is pivotal in helping make the Xicanx Youth Conference happen this February. We have just sent out our initial invitations to high school students from around the Central Coast for this year's conference, and we are excited to make this year the best yet!

During the second half of our campaign, we hope to continue taking steps toward meeting our goal. With the funds raised thusfar, we will be able to fund meals for students. The remaining funds that we need will help us fund t-shirts and other materials for students on the day of the conference. And by continuing to donate and share our campaign on social media, we are confident you can help us get there.

Thank you for giving to support MEXA and the success of our Xicanx Youth Conference (XYC)! Your contribution doesn't just help make a difference in the lives of the high school students coming to campus in February, but it’s also making a difference for the students who are volunteering to make XYC happen.
