Saturday marked the final day of the Mustang Sports Medicine Project. After a month of campaigning we have raised $11,551 to put towards new equipment for Sports Medicine to use in the room and during travel, which exceeded our initial $5,000 goal! These funds will make a huge impact not only for Kristal, Chris, Prince, Stephanie, Megan, and Neal, but for every current and future student-athlete at Cal Poly. We can not thank you enough for your generous contributions and for your continued support of Cal Poly Athletics. 

The team with the highest participation ended up being the Football team with 2 donors and 22% participation. Even though different teams did compete for the highest number of donors throughout our campaign, at the end of the day all Cal Poly Athletic teams benefit from this campaign and the improvements to come, all thanks to your support! 

We will keep you posted as new equipment arrives and as the team’s begin to travel with tools such as a NormaTec or Hypervolt!

We are now half way through our campaign and starting to see some real progress. Currently we have raised 21% of our initial goal of $5,000 and still have plenty of time remaining to surpass that benchmark. The Football team leads the pack with the highest number of people participating.

Let’s see what we can accomplish this second half of the campaign! Your donations, personal outreach and social media activity will help us reach our goal in time we have remaining here in August!
