Thank You!
This campaign has concluded and is in update mode, but you can still make a gift to the Mustang Strength Program by going here.
After 30 days we have raised $9,405 to put towards renovating the Strength and Conditioning room, which far exceeded our initial $5,000 goal. These funds will make a huge impact not only for Sara and the strength room but for every current and future student-athlete at Cal Poly. We cannot thank you enough for your generous contributions and for your continued support of Cal Poly Athletics. See the video below for a special thank you from Sara and some of our stellar student-athletes!
Additionally, this year we had the highest participation of any crowdfunding project with 77 donors! The team with the highest participation throughout the campaign was football with 23 participants, followed by Softball with 12 participants. The entire breakdown of giving is as shown below! We thank everyone for such wide-spread participation, as our strength school impacts all teams at CP Athletics.
August 28, 2020 - Four Days Remaining!
With just four days left and $6,680 raised, there is still time to help us reach and surpass our initial benchmark of $7,500! Every gift makes a difference in helping our Cal Poly Mustang student athletes maximize their potential.
Donor participation by sport shows Football in the lead with the highest number of donors at 35%, followed by Softball (13%) and general "All Sports" (9%).
We are now half way through our campaign and starting to see some real progress. Currently we have raised 58% of our initial goal of $7,500 and still have plenty of time remaining to surpass that benchmark. The Football team leads the pack with the highest number of people participating.
Let’s see what we can accomplish this second half of the campaign! Share this on social media using the links above.
We are one week into our campaign and beginning to pick up momentum. Please watch the video below to see how former Mustangs are giving back to strength and conditioning!
