We’ve achieved our initial goal and love the support that the Cal Poly community is providing for our former foster youth! Because of your help, we are able to increase our goal to $12,500. Additional donations will be used to help provide ongoing programming and support for former foster youth as the needs of these students don’t stop at move in. Your help will allow Cal Poly to ensure that our former foster youth students have the Mustang family experience every day of their college career.

The Basics
A $30 gift allows us to provide former foster youth students with basic dorm room items such as a desk lamp, toiletries, power strips, or a small personal safe.

School & Emergency Supplies
A $75 gift allows us to purchase school or emergency supplies such as notebooks, first aid kits, binders, and flashlights for our former foster youth students.

Luggage
So many former foster youth are made to move their belongings from place to place in plastic bags. A $150 gift will provide our former foster youth students with proper luggage.

Bedding, Bath, and Beyond
A generous $250 gift allows us to purchase a bedding set, towels and a bathrobe, or laundry supplies for an incoming student.

Electronics & Entertainment
A $500 gift allows us to provide a former foster youth student with a TV, Speaker, and/or printer for their resident hall room.

A generous $1000 gift allows us to provide a fully outfitted room to one former foster youth student. Thank you!
